These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of bonk, an e-commerce platform for stores in Algeria. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
bonk is a software-as-a-service platform that gives merchants a back-office, a site builder, a point-of-sale and related tools to run an online and in-store business. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean the bonk team.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or the authorized representative of a registered business, to create a bonk account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep your password confidential and enable two-factor authentication when offered
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
3. Your content and data
You retain ownership of all content, products, customer data and other information you put into bonk ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display and process Your Content solely to operate the service on your behalf. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your customers' data for advertising.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use bonk to:
- Sell products or services that are illegal under Algerian law
- Send spam or unsolicited marketing messages
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or to other accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or resell the software
- Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service
5. Pricing, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in Algerian Dinar (DZD). Free trials do not require payment details. You can cancel your paid plan from the dashboard at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial billing periods unless required by Algerian consumer law.
6. Intellectual property
bonk, our logos, and the platform — including its software, design and documentation — are our intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Feedback you share with us may be used to improve the service without obligation.
7. Termination
You can close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that remain inactive for an extended period, or that pose a security risk — with reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination you may export your data within 30 days.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by Algerian law, bonk is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Algiers.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions? Write to hello@bonk.dz.
